Tanjung Langsat Port visited by the Pahang State Development Corporation

TANJUNG LANGSAT, 23 July -- Tanjung Langsat Port received a delegation from the Pahang State Development Corporation (PKNP) recently. The visit was aimed to form closer ties and a productive session of knowledge sharing on port management.

Managed by TLP Terminal Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Johor Corporation (JCorp), Tanjung Langsat Port was announced as “The Best Private Jetty” by the Johor Port Authority at its Annual Port Industrial Award event last year. The port is a key enabler facility for the development of Tanjung Langsat Industrial Complex which has successfully attracted local and international investors.

Leading the delegation was Encik Mohd Faizal Jaafar, Chief Executive Officer of PKNP and accompanied by Dato’ Haji Amiruddin Mohd Said, Chief Executive Officer of TGA Solutions Sdn Bhd and Encik Subramaniam Ayasamy, Principal Assistant Secretary (International Unit) of Pahang State Economic Planning Division (BPEN).

The delegation was received by Encik Mohd Salleh Mohd Yusof, Vice-President and Chief Executive of Industrial Development Division of JCorp and Captain Abdul Rahim Omar, Executive Director of TLP Terminal Sdn Bhd.

The visit started at the Langsat OSC Terminal hall with an introduction session and a presentation on the development and operations of the Tanjung Langsat Port, before a tour of Tanjung Langsat Port’s dry and liquid bulk cargo jetties.

The visit resulted in a mutual agreement of working closely to share knowledge to benefit both states’ economies.
